Tell Me More Language Learning
 

The Plumb Memorial Library and Huntington Branch Library now offer Shelton residents a free subscription to Tell Me More Language Learning. Start by logging in with your library card barcode number,  then create a free account.

Available languages are: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic. One may choose from a variety of interface languages; for example, one can learn English as a second language while viewing instructions in one's native language.

There is a bit of initial set up work to complete before starting.  The program will guide you through a system test to make sure that your computer meets the minimum requirements of the software. Pop-up windows must be enabled for the software to work. Language components must also be installed.  In order to use all of the components most effectively, speakers/earbuds and a microphone are necessary.
